When a customer cannot log in to your storefront, Shopify shows them: "Incorrect email or password." That message often means one of two things: the customer has not set up a password yet because their account was imported from Manage Comics Classic, or they have forgotten the password.
If they forgot their password
Send them to:
https://yourstore.com/account/login
Have them click Forgot password to receive a reset email from Shopify.
Shop Login
If a customer has a Shop account that they use with other Shopify sites, they can sign in using that login. Note that the universal Shop account and an account created specifically for your website are two separate IDs and will create separate Manage Comics accounts.
If you imported customers from Manage Comics Classic
When Classic accounts are imported into Shopify, they are created in a disabled state. The customer needs to register on your store using the same email address they used in Classic. That activates the imported account and links their existing subscriptions to the new login.
Direct them to:
https://yourstore.com/account/register
After they register, Shopify sends a verification email. Once they click the verification link, the account activates and their Manage Comics subscriptions appear.

You can copy and adapt this message and send it via Shopify customer email or through the Manage Comics email system:
Email Template
We've upgraded our subscriptions system, and you can now get to your subscription preferences right through our website.
We've created you a new account. All of your subscriptions and special orders have been moved to our new system, but you'll need to set up the password yourself.
To set your password, go to /account/register and register for a new account.
Once you enter your name and email, you'll get a message that says: "We have sent an email to your_email@example.com, please click the link included to verify your email address."
Open that email and activate your account, and you'll be registered with our store.
