Can I try Manage Comics before committing?

Yes. Both Ordo and Oryx have demo and trial paths. See The Manage Comics Demo for Ordo. For Oryx, you can self-sign-up at oryx.managecomics.com or contact support via How to Get Help.

How much does it cost?

Ordo is billed through the Shopify App Store on a monthly subscription. Pricing changes over time and may vary by plan, so check the current price on the Ordo listing before signing up.

Oryx is $100 USD/month for the base account, plus $80 USD/month for each additional location if you are using multi-location. Contact support for the latest pricing or for anything non-standard. Additionally, there is an annual subscription option at $1000 USD/year, plus $800 USD/year for each additional location, offering savings.

Can I sign up for Oryx myself, or do I need to contact support?

Store self-signup for a new Oryx account is available at oryx.managecomics.com. Customer-facing subscriber login tools are in development. For now, subscriber-side changes are made by staff inside Oryx.

Can I switch between Ordo and Oryx later?

Yes, though it is a migration, not a setting toggle. Moving between products means exporting data, re-importing, and re-configuring integrations. See Choosing Between Ordo and Oryx for help picking the right product at the start.

How often is Manage Comics updated?

Regularly. New features, fixes, and distributor-file-format updates ship continuously. Updates happen on the Manage Comics side and are reflected in your app automatically.

Is Manage Comics down?

Check the Manage Comics status page to see the current status of the app and any ongoing incidents.

What happens if I miss an FOC?

The book is locked at whatever quantity you had at the time of cutoff. You can still attempt reorders through the distributor, but reorders are slower and less guaranteed.

What if my distributor changes their file format?

Manage Comics updates parsers when distributors change formats. If an import fails the week of a known format change, submit a ticket through How to Get Help with a sample file.

Can customers have multiple accounts?

Technically yes. In Ordo, each Shopify account is tied to one email, but a household could have two emails. In practice, you usually want one account per customer. See All Customers for Ordo-specific account-merging notes.

How do I change my shop's subscription plan (Ordo)?

Through Shopify's app billing. Go to Settings → Apps → Manage Comics. Or, from within the Manage Comics app, go to Settings → Locations → Update Subscription.

Can I have multiple admins?

Yes. Ordo inherits user management from Shopify (Shopify admin team members with access to the app). Oryx has its own user list in Admins, found in the left navigation menu.

Where do I report a bug or request a feature?

See How to Get Help. Bug reports go through support and feature requests go through the feedback channel.

Is there an API?

A limited API exists for custom integrations. Contact support for current availability and documentation.
