All Customers is your master list: every customer your shop has, with their subscriptions, pre-orders, and account details. After the weekly check-in screen, it's the single most-used page in Manage Comics, and a full mental model of it pays off across every customer workflow in this section.
Before You Dive In — Ordo Customer IDs Are Sacred
Manage Comics tracks every Ordo customer by their Shopify Customer ID. If you change a customer's name, email, or phone in Shopify, Manage Comics picks up the change automatically because the link is by ID, not by email.
The danger: if you merge two Shopify customer accounts and the account Manage Comics is tracking is the one that gets eliminated by the merge, Manage Comics loses that customer. Their subscriptions and history are stranded.
The fix: when merging accounts in Shopify, always merge into the account whose final-digits ID matches the one Manage Comics is tracking. You can see the ID at the end of the customer's URL in Shopify admin.
This concern doesn't apply to Oryx — Oryx owns its own customer records.
Finding the Page
Ordo: Apps → Manage Comics → Customers → All Customers.
Oryx: Customers → All Customers.
The Filter Bar
The top of the page has filters you'll use constantly:
Status — Subscribers, Non-Subscribers, De-Activated, NEW (for Ordo self-serve signups awaiting approval), and All Customers.
Search — matches name, email, and Subscriber ID.
Location (multi-location only) — filter to a single store or choose "All Locations."
The Customer Row
For each customer, you see a core set of fields. For Ordo customers, some are editable directly in Manage Comics and others are read-only and sync from Shopify:
Name — Ordo: read-only, edit in Shopify. Oryx: editable directly.
Subscriber ID — editable. This is your custom box number or shop-specific identifier.
Subscriptions — click to edit the customer's sub list.
Standard Discount — their default discount based on your shop-wide discount rate.
Custom Discount — an override for specific customers. Overrides Standard Discount.
Shipping Type — based on your shipping settings.
Adding a Subscription for a New Customer
Use the Add Subscription for New Customer button at the top of the list when you know the customer has no existing subs.
Ordo: the customer must already exist in Shopify.
Oryx: the customer must already exist in Oryx.
If you need to create the customer first, see Add a Customer to Manage Comics.
Exporting
Most filtered views can be exported to CSV via the export button near the filter bar. Use this when you need to pull a list into an outside tool (mailing labels, bookkeeping, etc.).
