Questions specific to Ordo and the Shopify integration. If your question is not covered here, check the General FAQ.
Why is my product in Shopify but not showing on the storefront?
The most common causes:
The product is not published to Online Store. Check the Sales Channels panel in Shopify.
The product has zero quantity. Some Shopify themes hide zero-quantity products.
The product is not in the expected collection. If your storefront uses a specific collection, confirm the product's tags match the collection's rules.
A Smart Collection has not re-populated yet. Wait and refresh.
Why didn't this week's new releases show up on the storefront?
Usually a tag mismatch between what was applied at check-in and what the New Releases Smart Collection is looking for. See Update New Releases Collection.
Why is Shopify showing zero quantity on products I just checked in?
Shopify's sync completes in multiple passes: create product, update cost, update quantity. The full cycle can take up to 15 minutes for a large invoice. Wait before troubleshooting.
A customer paid but the order shows as errored. What do I do?
Open the order in Customer Orders in Manage Comics and look at the error reason. The most common cause is a product-sync lag where Shopify has not finished updating quantities. Give it a few minutes and try the action again. If the order errors a second time, contact support with the customer ID and any errored products.
Can I customize the Shopify invoice email?
Yes, in Shopify Settings → Notifications. These are Shopify-side emails. Manage Comics does not template them.
Why isn't my pulls email sending?
Pulls emails are sent from Manage Comics, not Shopify. Check Customers → Email Campaigns to see whether the campaign was created and what its status is. If a campaign failed, contact support.
A customer says they didn't receive the pulls email.
Confirm the customer was included in the Email Campaigns recipient list.
Ask the customer to check spam and email filters.
Confirm their email address on file is correct.
Can I use Shopify Email for weekly pulls?
No. Shopify Email does not know which customer has which pull. Use Manage Comics' Pulls Email for pulls. Shopify Email is better for shop-wide marketing.
Why are my Shopify customer count and Manage Comics customer count different?
Shopify has every customer, including guest checkouts. Manage Comics has only subscribers.
Some Shopify customers may never have become Manage Comics subscribers.
For reconciling subscriber counts, see Find Active Subscription Customers in Shopify.
Can Manage Comics work with a Shopify theme I customized?
Yes. The customer-facing Manage Comics area works with any theme, as long as the Manage Comics App Embed is enabled. See Add the Manage Comics App Embed.
